January has slipped through my fingers like slippery wet
water. How ever did the clock tick
by? I am at a loss for words these
days, so perhaps it has been a blessing in disguise that time has tip toed by,
since I have writer’s block; and a severe case at that. Words come and go and the desire
to write has come and gone over these last few weeks too many times to count.
Maybe this is a sign; a sign to change things up, a sign to
begin something new, a sign to…
I am trying to work my way through it by folding socks and
reading and of course transporting my children around the city to their events
and helping with homework and making dinner and organizing the calendar and making
updates to life insurance and balancing the checkbook, and more laundry.
With February making its grand entrance in a few days,
perhaps some photography will boost my energy to write and be inspired once
again. I’ll give it a try.
Beginning Friday, I will challenge myself to take a love
inspired photo until Valentine’s Day and hopefully that will charge my
batteries and give me some direction.
Until then, I hope you will find time to be kind to yourself
on the days you don’t feel real whippy (that’s an official emotion) or are
waking up tired after sleeping 10 hours.
Be gentle to your soul and slowly melt into your day on those
days. Be kind and tender. It will do your soul some good.
Enjoy your Monday.
